Biography

Claudia Dufour Marquez is a visual artist specializing in photography who inhabits the unreal and invites viewers to share in this universe. Guided by intuition, she conveys emotions without compromise, exploring themes of identity, the relationship between individual and community, and human connections. Through her work, she seeks to communicate authentic vulnerability, evoke deep emotions, and above all, share her singular vision of beauty.

Drawing inspiration from flora, dreams, collective imagination, and the language of symbols, her creations tell stories and immerse viewers in melancholic narratives infused with mystery. Her works possess an ethereal essence, almost painterly, as if detached from any temporality. Gentle and feminine, they captivate the gaze with quiet intensity.

Claudia Dufour Marquez lives and works in Montreal. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Management and Design with a concentration in Marketing from École supérieure de mode de Montréal, as well as acertificate in Digital Photography from Parsons School of Design. After beginning her career in the fashion industry, she devoted herself entirely to photography and art. Her works are now part of private collections in Canada and France.
